Tamro

Quality

It is our job to safeguard pharmaceutical supply - in any situation. This is a great responsibility that places great demands on both safety and preparation at all levels. Safe thinking is built into all of our processes and we continually strive to identify and prevent any risks that could arise in our operations.

Regulations

As a pharmaceutical distributor, we must comply with many rules and standards. Tamro follows the following regulations: GDP (Good Distribution Practice), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice).

Quality

Pharmaceutical supply is special as regards the sensitivity of the goods during handling, storage and transport. We are quality certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and our work is governed by hundreds of restrictions and regulations.

But, rules and guidelines by themselves cannot generate good quality. To us, quality is a matter of attitude.

At Tamro, we work actively with environmental issues throughout the entire organisation. We are environmentally certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and we continually train all of our employees in environmental issues. Each year, we set new goals for each environmental area and continually raise the bar to become even better.

Pharmaceutical distribution requires a high level of responsibility, not least because of the products sensitivity during handling, storage and transport. Tamro handles an average of 12,500 articles - from headache pills to life-saving vaccines.

Regulations

All handling of pharmaceuticals places great demands on safety and preparation. The products themselves are sensitive and require thorough monitoring and special skills of those who handle them. They are expensive, sensitive (e.g. sensitive to vibrations, temperature and light) and are often inflammable and hazardous to the health.

Safety on all levels

Enviornmental responsibility is a natural part of our activities. A desire to preserve the environment and do what we can to maintain development as much as possible is part of our responsibility to society.
