Tamro
Emergency and safety

It is our job to safeguard pharmaceutical supply - in any situation. Throughout our entire company, there is a well worked out system designed to serve as a support in the event of an incident.
Environmental Policy

Enviornmental responsibility is a natural part of our activities. A desire to preserve the environment and do what we can to maintain development as much as possible is part of our responsibility to society.
Safety on all levels
All handling of pharmaceuticals places great demands on safety and preparation. The products themselves are sensitive and require thorough monitoring and special skills of those who handle them. They are expensive, sensitive (e.g. sensitive to vibrations, temperature and light) and are often inflammable and hazardous to the health.
This requires safe and well monitored facilities, authorised and responsible personnel and a well developed safety system on all levels. Everyone who works at Tamro has undergone special safety training. The entire area is well monitored and special authorisation is required to enter. Safety-classified and sensitive pharmaceuticals are handled in special areas with an additional safety level and restricted authorisation.
The processes in which we handle the products are also sensitive: During the entire time the good is with us, we have total responsibility for it. Nothing may go wrong and our work methods and routines are thoroughly developed to prevent this. Our work also includes, for example, monitoring and handling returnsof pharmaceuticals as well as goods maintenance and sealing of safety-classified products.
We also train our carriers in safety thinking and correct handling of pharmaceuticals.
Preparation - part of our responsibility to society
It is our job to safeguard pharmaceutical supply - in any situation. Throughout our entire company, there is a well worked out system designed to serve as a support in the event of an incident. At Tamro, there is an on-call pharmaceutical team consisting of specially trained employees who are ready at any time to make sure that pharmaceuticals are delivered to intensive care clinics and emergency rooms in acute situations.
An important part of our responsibility to society is safeguarding pharmaceutical supply in Sweden in the event of unforeseen events or crises. We continually strive to identify, prevent and develop action plans for the risks that could arise in or in relation to our activities.
Tamro is also an important part of Sweden's crisis preparedness since we fill the strategic pharmaceutical stockpile of both pharmaceutical companies and the government.
An important factor in maintaining and developing a satisfactory level of safety and preparation is active cooperation and exchange of experiences with our customers and others in the industry.
