Our organisation

Tamro in Sweden has about 450 employees. We are a dynamic, developing team offering a rather impressive range of skills and expertise. Our business is based on cooperation, internally as well as externally.

The company is part of the Tamro Group, which has 4,900 employees at 20 distribution centres in 8 countries across the Nordic region, Baltic States and Russia. In Sweden, Tamro not only has its headquarters and distribution centre in Gothenburg, but sites in Stockholm and Umeå, too.

Tamro's business activities are driven by the business department and the logistics department in close cooperation. The logistics department attends to the operations of the company, from daily routines and coordination to development and optimisation of logistical processes. The business department is responsible for everything from regulation of goods to business information services. Its focus is on communication and the highest degree of customer satisfaction possible.

As support for the daily activities, there are a number of common administrative support functions such as IT, finance, quality, environment, safety, information, personnel and law.

Our leadership philosophy - with common guidelines

Tamro's leadership philosophy is based on the conviction that, above all, it is a leadership which focuses on the employees which brings about job satisfaction and commitment, and in turn success. Our Group-wide guidelines, the Phoenix Group Leadership Guidelines, have been developed on the basis of a broad dialogue with all countries in the Phoenix Group. They stress the importance of good leadership in a number of specially selected areas of leadership.
