Qualified Person (expert) - Governmental authorities' extension into the company, investigates concepts.

As a Qualified Person, I am responsible for ensuring that Tamro handles pharmaceuticals in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. I work in the Quality/Environment/Safety department at Tamro's headquarters in Gothenburg. You could say I am the government authorities' extension into the company. All companies that work with pharmaceuticals must by law have a Qualified Person, an expert, who is judged as suitable by the Medical Products Agency. At the core, I am a pharmacist. Before starting at Tamro in September 2003, I worked for various companies within the pharmaceutical industry.

My work at Tamro is a lot of fun. I am involved in so much, from classic quality assurance regarding requirements such as GDP, GMP and ISO, improvement projects, logistics and IT to practical instructions regarding our day-to-day work. I like taking an active part in things and communicating with many people - at government authorities, within the company and at our customers. I think I'm considered a very glad and positive person - and see it as a challenge to break down laws and rules into instructions at just the right theoretical level, helping employees to work in a uniform manner. We are a company made up of a lot of different people and it is important for our entire company that everyone really understands why we must do things a certain way.

I live just outside of Gothenburg together with my partner Christian. We are currently renovating our newly purchased house, so I have been known to come in to work with a bit of paint in my hair now and then. Otherwise, sailing is our big interest. Together with my brother and his family, we own a sailboat that we sail in all types of weather along the Bohus Coast, Norway and Denmark.
