From curiosity to job satisfaction
It was when my husband applied for a job at Tamro that I first came into contact with the company, and something was sparked in me – I wanted to be part of Tamro too. When I received my work permit, I quickly got in touch, and today I work at the warehouse in Gothenburg, a place where I both thrive and develop. When I started here, my Swedish wasn't the best, but thanks to my colleagues, my language skills improved quickly. Today, it is one of the greatest personal developments I have made, and it is truly largely thanks to Tamro.

"What I appreciate most is that we are encouraged to develop and try different roles."
Community is a big part of the workday
At Tamro, we are encouraged to develop, and I have had the opportunity to try several different departments. I started in the picking department, then moved on to dispatch, and now I work in goods reception handling orders. Learning new tasks is both challenging and fun, but if I had to choose a favourite, it would probably be the picking department – where it all started. It's not because the work there is easier, but because it was where I started with a fantastic team. We quickly became like a small family and supported each other every day.
A strong team spirit is key
I always take responsibility for my tasks and help colleagues when needed because I believe that mindset is the key to our success. With a solution-oriented approach, I always try to see opportunities in the challenges that my colleagues and I face. "If the company succeeds, I succeed!" is a motto I live by – because when Tamro succeeds, I know that both my colleagues and I have done a good job.
