From service to strategy
I started at Tamro as a customer service representative, and I worked there for about a year and a half. Then I was advised to apply to the Service Desk – something that suited me well, as I have always been interested in IT. After more time at the Service Desk, a colleague suggested I join the ERP group, where I then worked for about three years. My latest role is within Digital Solutions, where I now work as a Business Intelligence Database Administrator. Each role has been a learning experience, and Tamro has truly given me the chance to develop and explore my interests.

The freedom to explore new solutions
As a Business Intelligence Database Administrator, I am new to the role, but I already find it very enjoyable. One of the great advantages is the freedom in how we solve the requirements and requests that come from different parts of the business. Unlike previous roles, which often involved setting requirements and testing processes, I can now work more freely and creatively with solutions. I get to use new technologies to develop our information platform and other internal tools. It is a developmental role in itself – with endless opportunities to learn new things.
Putting values into practice
When you enjoy your job, you automatically want to contribute and deliver your best, and this is precisely what makes my workdays so enjoyable. I take responsibility for creating solutions that make a difference, collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, and always look for new ways to create value for the business. By having the opportunity to grow and change roles within the company, I have found a role where I can truly contribute and develop.
