"As a leader, I always want to lead by example."
It started with five months of work and training in Nykvarn for Johan Luu, who is now a Team Leader in goods reception in Eskilstuna. He describes the journey as a roller coaster.

The chance to shape his work from the start
When the new warehouse opened in Eskilstuna, we were only six brave employees, five of whom were entirely new to Tamro, who would run the operation. We called that time the honeymoon period and tried to shape the work according to our own thoughts and wishes while there were high expectations for us to perform at a high level from day one.

"The best part is that there are always new development opportunities."
From honeymoon to significant changes
The operation has developed enormously in just a few years; today, it feels like production has become ten times larger. We have new colleagues, the layout of the warehouse has changed, and many new customers and routines have been added. This has constantly tested my role as a team leader, where I always have to solve problems and handle unforeseen events. Although it is challenging, it has been an incredibly educational journey. Having multiple tasks and working in an environment where no day is the same is something I truly appreciate.
An inspiring corporate culture is the goal
In my work, I always strive to create value and show results. I do this by completing my tasks quickly and efficiently while trying to lead by example for the team. I believe that what you see and hear can quickly influence others, so it is essential to create a positive atmosphere. By listening to my colleagues and sharing ideas, we can contribute to improvements together. The more people we have on the same train, the better the journey will be!
