Recall of pharmaceuticals
All those who manufacture or trade in medications are required to have effective procedures in place to recall a medication if necessary. Through our "Recall of Pharmaceuticals" service, you can ensure that a reliable procedure is in place.
ARI (Working Group for Complaints and Recalls) has developed national guidelines for handling recalls. We follow these guidelines and can assist with both actual and simulated recalls.
Here’s how it works:
If you find yourself in a situation where you need to recall a medication, contact us immediately. We will then stop further deliveries of the affected goods/batches and forward the recall notice unchanged to the relevant customers, other wholesalers/distributors, pharmacy chain headquarters, independent pharmacies, retail chain headquarters, or other parties to whom the medicine has been delivered.
We can also, if desired, receive returned goods from the affected customers and provide information on the number of returned packages.
